Are you stressed and overwhelmed? Are you plagued by a sense that you’re not getting where you want to be in your life? Feeling stuck? Or perhaps you are dealing with changes—such as the death of a loved one, a serious illness, loss of a relationship, a career change (or the need of one!), or simply the challenges of aging—that have you struggling to cope?
The skills you learn in therapy can benefit you your whole life. I will teach you new ways to approach old (and new) problems. I will help you focus on what’s important and shed unnecessary ways of thinking, making room for growth and new possibility.
My name is Lisa Turetsky and I am a licensed psychotherapist. Clients are not just “customers” to me. When I accept a new client, I become committed to that person’s well-being, and I bring my whole self to the process.
I have been a therapist for 14 years (after a career in the performing arts), during which I have helped people with family and relationship problems, stress and overwhelm, harsh inner critic, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, and all kinds of emotional and spiritual quandaries.
My style is active and collaborative. I treat my clients with respect and bring humor, appreciation, and authenticity to my work. I offer a free initial consultation and welcome any questions you might have about me, my qualifications and experience, how therapy works, etc. I look forward to meeting you! When you feel ready, send me an email to get started.
