I have always been fascinated by the human mind and the human experience. Long before I became a psychotherapist, I read extensively about human development, how our experience shapes us, and more recently about the remarkable plasticity (ability to change and grow) of the human brain. I believe that the potential for human transformation is great, given the right circumstances, and it’s my passion to make that transformation possible. I had a background in the arts before becoming a therapist, and I went back to school when I was 50 to put that passion for transformation into practice. I became licensed in 2014 and have been working in private practice since then.
